"Where a mountain meets the sea", Humbug mountain is one of the tallest headlands on the pacific coast. The state park includes a wooded campground, day use area, and beach access where Brush Creek meets the ocean. There are hiking trails throughout the park leading from the sea to the summit at 1,765 feet.
The day use area is a lush green knoll surrounded by forest, with Brush Creek running nearby. There are picnic tables, fire pits, and washrooms on site. Firewood is available for purchase at the campground nearby.
