Description

A former ranch on the north side of Reno, Rancho San Rafael Regional Park is an impressive 580 acres making it Washoe County's largest park. On the grounds are number of attractions including the Wilbur D May Museum, Wilbur D May Arboretum & Botanical Garden, historic ranch house, Herman's Pond, miles of paths, and a disc golf course. The site also plays host to the Great Reno Balloon Race along with dozens of other special events each year.

For picnicking, the site features 5 reservable pavilions, many individual sites, and washrooms.
