Description

Located at the peak of the Donner Pass at 7,056 feet, this wayside rest area on I-80 is named after the ill-fated Donner Party of which many succumbed to the elements nearby. The rest area is cradled between lakes and features a mix of wooded and rocky areas.

The facilities on location include picnic tables, benches, and washrooms.
