Description

A rest area that doesn't pull any punches, what you see from the highway is exactly what you get: two picnic tables, two portable outhouses and a trio of historical markers.

Located in the middle of the fields, and on the location of the Crane Lake Farm, part of the 76 Ranch at the turn of the century.

An rather sad picnic area, there's only two tables despite numerous vehicles stopping here. More picnic tables, and picnic tables in the shade would greatly improve this rest stop.
