Riding Mountain National Park - Agassiz

Located on the side of one of Manitoba's "mountains" at the site of an abandoned ski hill is a picnic shelter which has a story to tell. This isn't just a picnic shelter, it's actually the old pub from the ski hill with it's walls removed. Looking up, you can still see the runs climbing up the hill away from you.

This out of the way picnic spot has great views, and a sheltered picnic table waiting for you to discover it. There are also some hiking trails to explore nearby such as the Oak Ridge Trail.
