Description
In the heat of the summer, all of Invermere heads down to Kinsmen Beach to cool off. The beach has a great combination of sand and shade on warm summer days, as well as a cafe selling food and beverages, and a rental stand for canoes, kayaks, and stand up paddle boards. For kids, there is a playground and a splash pad next to the beach.
In the winter the park is home to a long skating trail around the lake.
There are picnic tables and benches scattered throughout the park, and a picnic shelter towards the south east of the park. The park also has plumbed washrooms and a water dispenser beside the cafe.
