If you want to eat a picnic with views overlooking the Columbia River wetlands, there isn't a place that's better than the Ian Jack Commemorative Monument.

Just south of the town of Radium Hot Spring on Highway 93, there are a series of three pull outs along the highway each with picnic tables and an incredible view of the river and wetlands below. It's a great outside lookout and an even better place for a scenic meal.
