Description
Despite an ominous name, Widowmaker is a popular whitewater kayaking and canoeing location on the Kananaskis River. Just downstream from Barrier Lake, the water level is controlled by the dam at the lake's outlet. Here you can launch you boat for some watersports, or head for a hike along the river if you prepare to stay dry.
Located in the parking lot are a couple of picnic tables so you can grab a bite to eat before hitting the river, and pit toliets.
